Barbara Bellman is an entrepreneur, businesswoman, author, lecturer, consultant and marketing coach, with a focus on developing integrated communication strategies for the beauty, health, and medical industries. With more than 30 years in strategic marketing, her skills in brand management have helped clients be more competitive in their respective categories - clients such as Baxter International, Safeguard Security, V's Barbershop and Shoeshine, Alere Medical, Breitfield and Schliekert, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Health Net, University of California Medical School and Campus, Children's Medical Center of Dallas, Physician's Choice of Arizona, Siemens Medical Solutions, Proton Therapy Corporation of America and hundreds of other health and medical clients.
A frequent lecturer and contributor to major national marketing publications, she has authored two books: Reaching Women: The Way to Go in Marketing Health Services (1987) and Hitting the Right Nerve (2002). Both are leading references to strategic marketing in the area of gender specific medicine.
Ms. Bellman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University with an emphasis in Marketing and Advertising, Prior to joining HMI as Chief Marketing Strategist, she was CEO of Alpern Lehman (Scottsdale, AZ) and President/Creative Director of York/Alpern (Los Angeles, CA).

Donna Arbogast, Senior Vice President of 3 Legged Stool, is a marketing communications consultant with more than 25 years’ experience. With particular expertise in health care, Donna enjoys developing integrated marketing and advocacy campaigns and establishing community, corporate and media partnerships to support them.
An accomplished writer, event planner and manager, Donna began her career as a journalist with a degree from the University of Maryland. She entered the public relations field in 1980, taking a position at Washington Hospital Center, the largest and busiest hospital in the nation’s capital. When she launched her own consulting practice in 1985, Donna helped develop the hospital’s first public health advocacy campaign, and the Hospital Center remains a major client 22 years later.
In addition, Donna has worked with health systems, public health departments, nursing homes, conference centers and think tanks, helping them identify the most effective communications strategies and implement the tactics. For her work, she has won numerous regional and national awards from many of the most distinguished peer-reviewed associations in the field. A lifelong learner, Donna is currently enrolled at the Cary Business School at Johns Hopkins University.
